Senior Initiatives Program

RPCC’s Senior Initiatives Program (SIP) provides individuals age 60-plus with comprehensive services such as assistance applying for benefits (Circuit breaker, public aid, etc.), landlord-tenant mediation, and personal advocacy.  For those interested in learning basic computer skills, SIP offers one-on-one computer instruction (weekly lessons).

RPCC sponsors a popular monthly Super Seniors Crazy Jazz Bingo Party, with a $25 Dominick’s gift card awarded as the grand prize, and many smaller prizes.  Bingo prizes and refreshments are supplied by Lake Shore HealthCare & Rehabilitation Centre and Morse Fresh Market.  Games are played every last Saturday of the month.

All senior programs are free of charge.  Residents are encouraged to call Cathie at (773) 338-7722, x11 or email cathie@rogerspark.org  to schedule an appointment or to learn more about services.
