Rogers Park 2000 is our community newspaper designed to increase awareness about community issues and resources. Our first issue hit the street in June, 1996.
Pon Angara (Barkada Creative, LLC) is the designer and graphic artist for RP2000. We could not publish this publication without him!
Volunteers serve as our journalistic team. As RP2000 is a publication of the Rogers Park Community Council, we retain the right to print, edit and/or pass on any article received.

Published quarterly, RP2000 is distributed free to 10,000 households. The newspaper is available in 50 local businesses and organizations and is mailed to members of the Rogers Park Community Council. In addition to feature stories on Rogers Park events, we also include regular columns such as:

Food Fun -- highlighting Rogers Park eateries;

Officially Speaking -- updates on governmental issues;

The Marketplace -- stories about Rogers Park businesses;

The Loyola Line -- information about our local university;

RP2000's December issue is mailed to every household and business in Rogers Park (the Lake to Ridge / Devon to the City limits) as well as through local businesses -- a total of 35,000 issues!

Home Delivery. Become a member of your Community Council and Rogers Park 2000 will be mailed to you.

Volunteer. RP2000 is written by volunteer journalists from our community. If you are interested in becoming a writer and/or have story ideas -- give us a call.

Advertise. The newspaper is paid for by our advertisers -- businesses who care about Rogers Park! When you visit our advertisers tell them you saw their ad in Rogers Park 2000!
